Are you providing services onsite during the Coronavirus crisis?
We are currently offering both in-person and telehealth sessions. In-person sessions will be conducted in a manner to reduce risk of COVID-19. Most insurance companies are covering video sessions, but we encourage you to contact your insurance company and inquire about your coverage for sessions via video and telephone for “outpatient mental health.”
What exactly is counseling?
Counseling consists of a series of conversations. Based on our conversations and your goals, we will create a plan together to get you feeling better and more connected in your relationships. We will use our experience and knowledge to help you heal and thrive despite negative experiences and challenging situations you have come up against.
Like most things in life, the more effort you put into your healing journey, the more you will benefit from our sessions. Based on our conversations and my assessment of how to help you, we may provide you with tasks to try in your daily life between sessions.
Counseling is a unique service because the goal of counseling is for you to not need it anymore! Through our work together, you will obtain the knowledge and skills to maintain emotional wellness and healthy relationships.
Will my information be kept confidential?
Your confidentially is of the utmost importance to us. You can rest assured that proper measures have been taken to keep our conversations private and your personal information secure. Your information will not be shared with anyone without your written consent.
